FAQs
If you can’t find the answer you need just below, you can always get in touch with our friendly customer service team. They’d love to help.
It rather depends. Much like everything we do, our stock levels are honest and open - you won’t find scarcity tactics here. Since we do most of our manufacturing in Melbourne, our sheets, pillows and quilt covers are rarely out of stock. If they are, the most you’ll wait is usually two weeks. Seasonal pieces like flannel are a little different. They’re made in Europe once a year and usually stay out of stock until our next order. You can always place a backorder if needed and we’ll give you our best estimate of when it’ll be ready.
We’re happy to return products that haven’t been used or damaged if you’ve changed your mind and also, of course, if it’s faulty. You can read more about our returns policy here.
No-one. We’re wholeheartedly committed to offering our customers the very best value by cutting out the middle man. We import directly from trusted European suppliers to sell directly to you. Fewer middlemen, less markup, exceptional quality. If we sold our products through department stores or boutique retail outlets, the prices would immediately shoot through the roof.
Our flagship concept store is in Camberwell, Melbourne where you can feel the quality of our products for yourself. We do ship Australia wide and internationally too.
Yes, we do. It’s the beauty of crafting our products by hand just behind our Camberwell concept store.
We work closely with interior designers to craft bespoke, one-off pieces. We can custom make any of our stocked fabrics to specific sizes or requirements. We’re often asked to make sheets for European or American beds or even the beds on private aeroplanes and yachts.
We’ll quote each project individually and can often give an accurate estimate unless the job is very unusual. Depending on the complexity of the work and how busy our team is, the lead time is usually from 1 to 10 days.
Feel free to find out more and discuss your needs by getting in touch.
We do, yes. Interior designers, architects, hotels, B&Bs, beauty spas and more are all eligible. To make a trade enquiry, please contact our Trade Account Manager, Louise.
We’re glad you asked. With proper care, our exquisite down will have a new lease of life and last even longer.
Air it out
Once a month, we’d recommend letting your pillow get some fresh air without any pillowcase on. Gently move the filling around and fluff up the down or feather clusters. Hang it on the clothes line for about 12 to 24 hours.
Dry clean
There’s nothing like a professional dry clean to really reinvigorate your pillow. It’s a tried and tested method to bring back a lot of the original spring and loft. A dry clean preserves the down in prime condition and keeps it suitably clean by cleansing any impurities trapped in the filling.
Make sure to pick a dry cleaner that specialises in pillows or doonas who’ll clean your pillow carefully without any dangerous chemicals. Be cautious of those who claim to ‘rejuvenate’ your pillow. We’ve seen pillows altered with a worse quality shell or even topped up with inferior duck down and feather.
Abode cleaning
We’re happy to arrange expert pillow dry cleaning through a partner we know and trust. This costs $30 per pillow or $45-60 per quilt and takes 1 to 3 business days. You can either drop it and collect it from our store in Camberwell, Victoria or organise return postage at your own cost.
We want your pillow to be The One. The kind you’re desperate to pack into your suitcase whenever you leave your house. That’s why we offer a free adjustment service for three months from the date you bought it. We’ll adjust the filling by hand in Camberwell. You’ll only pay for any filling that’s added and return shipping if you can’t drop it off. If we take any filling out, we’ll give that back to you for safekeeping.
After three months have passed, we charge a $30 fee. We offer this service for your pillow’s lifespan. For health regulation purposes, all pillows have to be dry cleaned after six months or more before they’re adjusted by our team.
Visit our store in Camberwell to book your pillow in for a service or if you leave interstate, please send it in the post and we’ll add return postage to your fee.
We want our customers to have the freedom to create a bespoke bedroom look they love, so we sell all our pieces separately. This gives you the flexibility to find your own unique look, so if you buy a quilt cover or sheet, don’t forget to add pillowcases. With our luxurious natural materials, you can feel confident in whatever you choose for your own personal sanctuary. This also means you can mix and match with standard pillows and king-sized beds.
Absolutely. The gift of luxury is a thoughtful one indeed. Visit us in store, or give us a call to buy one online. They range from $25 up to $1000.
Since we use the best quality natural materials, we always allow for a bit of room for shrinkage in the wash. For pure linen, this can be by as much as 15%, so it might initially seem like the linen is the wrong size. We meticulously test and manufacture to allow for this to happen in the first wash and tumble dry, though it can take up to three washes for the linen to fully shrink.
